Preview window freezing!

I am using MM2.1
After adding and editing a few clips i decided to try and preview my video.
It played properly the first time. But when i tried playing it a second time,
the preview windoe remained frozen at the first frame and the timeline too
remained frozen(the indicator was stuck at one place!). After a few more
tries, I found that the timeline was working fine but the preview window
remained frozen at wherever it was when i clicked 'play'.
However, after an hour or so when i played it worked perfectly-then the
problem happened again.
I need help please!!
Thanx!

See the Problem Solving > Crashes and Hangs page of www.papajohn.org
It could also be a source file issue.. depending on the types of files
you're using.

JPG files are sometimes an issue but not often.
To find out for certain though you can convert the JPG to BMP and try the
movie again.
