I've been using Movie Maker for about a year and am very pleased so
far.However, I am having a problem lately and wondered if someone here knew
the answer.
A couple of weeks ago, I was working on my largest project yet. The hard
drive was full of clips I was working with and I suddenly started having
problems when I split the clips. Some of them, once split, showed a green,
pixilated thumbnail that cleared up within a couple of seconds when played.
I thought it was a playback problem only so I burned the film then realized
it was in the final copy as well.
This is the first time I have done so large a project and I wonder if that
had something to do with it. I am using an HP zv5000 laptop with 512 megs of
Ram, an athelon processor running at 3 ghz but only a 40 meg hd.
