I am having similar as the stuff i have comes in .dat format and the
moviemaker doesnt support the format............ anyway guys i got myself the
VCDConvertor.exe and i convert my .dat files to MPeg files and then i import
them into Movie maker ..... just thought id throw this in in case someone
else has been tryiing to make movies with .dat stuff....................

I want to add though, for those who use this advice, that it would be better
to convert to AVI instead of MPG. MPeg files do not always work well with
WMM and MPeg2 files don't work at all with WMM.
