Reformat XP

I need to reformat my HD. Currently running XP Pro.
I want to save all my old emails and address book in Outlook Express. I seem
to remember that the process was somewhat involved and that MS had a page
that addressed the issue. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
