hotfixes

i reinstalled my windows xp professionnel tonite,after i removed SP2..now i
still have all these hotfixes in my add/remove programs..that i think is
conflicking with the way my puter is working ..iam freezing up all the time
after 2 or 3 operations . QUESTION !!!!! With just my original windows xp
professionnel do i need to keep these hotfixes or can i remove them ????

What appallingly bad advice! Hotfixes are MS security fixes, if you
uninstall them you will be leaving the system open to the vulnerabilities
they were designed to secure.

If I didn't know better, I'd say you were a hacker and you want the OP to
leave their system unprotected.

He said he removed SP2, therefore SP2 hotfixes are useless.

Wrong again. They are fixes that were rolled into SP2 they are *NOT*
useless. Remove them and you remove the protection.
