Got great Sony VX2100 mini DV cam. I download into an external 120 GB hard
drive and do the edit using WMM2. Cool enuf! Then, I upload my edited project
via firewire to a Sony mini Deck. That's where the problems start. Audio
distortions mostly right now. But there have been video problems, too.
Even when no problems occur coming out of the computer to the mini Deck,
when I burn a DVD with firewire from the mini Deck, they all halt and stall
and stutter, with audio continuing over frozen images that should be moving.
Yet when I play the project back on the computer, it's smooth as a fluid head
tripod. Both mini Deck and DVD burner are new out of the box. External drive
is new, too.
Editing with WMM2 is great and everything seems to work, until I try to
upload to a DV camera then try to burn a DVD. I sure would appreciate some
help.
