Then do it.
There are several options available. Select the clip you want to overlay
text onto and click "Make titles or credits" under the EDIT MOVIE task. Be
sure to click "title on the selected clip" and then edit your text, font,
color, size etc... and select the style of text overlay you want. Click
"Done" and the text overlay will show up in your timeline in the "Title
Overlay" section where you can adjust positioning and length.
