Scenes and Collections

I captured some video from my Sony TRV-460 into MM. It was from a Hi8
tape, so it didn't have any time/date on the tape, and thus came over
as only long clip.
I broke the clip into scenes on the timeline.
Now my question is how I get these scenes back up as part of the
collection. How do I get these scenes back up as part of the
collection?
Thanks.

You can't move clips from the timeline to the collection.
You could either have split the single clip in the collection, or right
clicked it and chosen create clips.

How do I split the single clip in the collection into many clips? I
see under the right-click menu I can "create clips," but no way to
manually specify where to split the clip.
Corey
Navigate the clip (in preview) to the spot where you want to split it and
then click the Split Clip button in the controls below the preview window or
press CTRL+L

Found it - apparently there is a "split clip" button on the
monitor/player. This is a real pain. A better feature would be to be
able to have an editing device like the timeline.
Thanks print_maker.
"Apparently" ?
Well that is what I told you to do :-)
Also you can press CTRL+L instead of mousing to the button and clicking on
it.

Never saw your post Wojo, but hopefully now others doing a search on
the web/google groups/usenet will see how exactly to do it!
Thanks again.
Corey
Hopefully, I was only joking by the way. :)
