Task manager is not exactly working correctly

I am running WinXP Home. I recently got rid of two viruses. When I discovered them I ran through Task manager to kill unwanted processes and the top menu bar and tabs in TM vanished. I haven't been able to get them back.

How can I re-install Task manager? maybe I should dig deeper? Help?

April

Double-click the Task Manager border in order to get the tabs back.
