Is there a way to bring DV PAL formatted files into Movie Maker? I have the
files on my hard drive. I can read them in Quicktime but Movie Maker cannot
import them. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to be able to edit the
files in Movie Maker?

Quality is an issue. When I use Quicktime to go out to AVI the quality is not
great. Any other suggestions or import filters out there?

That may be with some converters but since AVI is a raw video type of file
quality shouldn't be an issue with decent conversion software. If you follow
the link I supplied you will find that there are quite a few different
program options they will list for you. AVI is the best format for you to
work with in WMM.

DV PAL is an AVI format. How do you mean Movie Maker cannot import them?
What is the error message?
