First off, thank you papajohn for the info on the brightness, it worked out
great. second, i have already made a dvd of some old tapes that i have, but
i need to burn another dvd. When i go into the file through WMM, and hit
save to DVD, it wants me to save the file again, do i have to do this each
time. or is there a shortcut. thank you so much. dan

Thanks Dan,

With Movie Maker and Photo Story and DVD features, all that I've seen to
date... you have to start over and go through all the renderings each time.

The only other option is to start with the first DVD and add to it or change
it in the DVD software, not Movie Maker.

Dan,

If you are just looking to make a second copy of your DVD, go out and
download a copy of DVDShrink. Its a great free tool for backing up DVDs.
There haven't been any updates to the software so you might have to search
around for it. This tool is so much quicker than waiting for MyDVD to render
another DVD.

Most CD/DVD burning software allows for "copy". If your DVD is not copy
protected (as a home-made one should not be) then you can just use it. it's
just like making a copy of a CD. It will read your data, and store it in a
temp file on the PC, eject the original disk, insert a blank one and write a
new disk. very simple. If you want to make multiple copies, most Burning
software will also let you save to an "image" file which you then use to
burn as many copies as you want.
