I have a file save that I created in Windows Movie Maker (photoshow) and I
want to import it to Nero Express (or even Pinnicle Studio 9 Plus) any how
when I went to open it in Nero I had an error msg pop up saying that the
mpeg2 coding was not available and I would have to purchase it from Nero
Express. Is there a way around this?

You need to use a DVD authoring software such as Nero "Vision" Express,
Ulead Movie Factory, Sonic MyDVD etc.
"Nero Express" is just a DVD/CD burning software and cannot make menus and
chapters for your DVD Video.
Even with the MPEG2 encoding plugin, you will need to use the "Nero Vision
Express".
