Add or Remove

Hi,
when I go into control panel/add or remove I have about 15 entries called
Windows XP Hotfix and then a number, is it safe to remove these or will
something stop working

Thankyou Heirloom for your reply, I didn't understand it.
Perhaspe I did not make myself clear, Yes I realise I could remove them but
is it safe to do so, have they done their job or must I leave the entries in
place?
Do I assume correctly they are a windows update, why have they been put into
ADD or Remove?, if they have to stay put is there a way of putting them into
say a single folder in Add or Remove? simply because there is a lot of them
and they cluter things up.

You can hide those updates in Add/Remove Programs by removing the
check mark in the box next to "Show Updates" near the top of the
window. Hopefully, that will take care of the clutter.

As Mike Hall as already pointed out, you don't want to remove
them.
