I have inadvertenly loaded a file on to the desk top and cannot clear it
(numerous folders are appearing all over the desk top) Can anyone help me
clear these permanently. I've tried System Restore also deleting then
permently deleting to no avail.

go to c:/documents and settings/your user name/desktop and delete the
unwanted files in that folder.

Hi Marie,
Delete the file/folder from Safe Mode. If that does not help, visit the
following page for several different approaches on deleting stubborn files
and folders.

Are they folders, or are they icons for 'online casinos' and stuff like
that?.
