DJammyRasta]very helpfull there testy ;)
yes i didn't make that at all clear ... because this is actually a
harddrive
error
wrote my problem in a bit more detail
my hdd has gone and died on me ... now if this was just one of my
downloads
hdd's i wouldn't really care, maxtor r givin me a new one and i can
just
download everythin again but this is my games hdd and as fun as my
games r i
dont want to have to start them all again
downloaded a handfull of data recovery utilities and they all seem
pretty
rubbish and cant help
the hdd has reverted back to "raw" mode as if it was a new hdd but i
know
somethin is still there as it still gets like 3/4 of the way through
booting
up windows before it blue screens
the error its givin me now is ....
"the drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. plz check drive
and
make sure that a disk (physical location of drive here) is inserted
and the
drive door is closed"
anyone got any ideas ??
I got the same message when I connected my iPod, Drive F:, after a 15
min song tried to transfer. Does this mean the drive is dead? I
searched tons of support sites and couldn't find anything about this.
