[Freeze]

Hello guys,

Recently, my computer froze up whenever I would try to run a full virus
scan from Norton System Works. However, I was still able to go online
and email, etc...

It concerned me that I could not run a full scan though and wanted to
find out why. I detected no viruses, re-installed norton, re-installed
Win Service Pk2, re-installed my printer and scanner, re-installed my
DSL....But still no help...

So, I called DELL. Dell wanted for me to wipe everything and start
over. I thought "Okay, cool. I have done this before, so I was familiar
with the process. However, my computer will not let me re-install the OS
(windows XP). It got all the way to starting Windows and froze. Twice, I
tried this.

Please, I need some help. Can anyone tell me what is going on and
direct me on what to do next?
