Unable to start Win Xp Pro

Hi All,

I am having problems with starting Win XP Pro.
On power up, it was getting as far as the select user screen, then on
clicking the user icon, going through a reset procedure. Now my pc
won't boot up at all, not even from the Win XP Pro CD-ROM. Is there any
way I can start again with the system, by either doing a full re-format
and full installation of Win XP Pro or creating a boot disk on another
pc? I have tried starting up in safe mode but it won't have that either
- I just get a blank screen (is it a problem with my graphics
card/driver?). It is a shuttle system with nVidia chipset, AMD Athlon
processor and ATI Radeon graphics card. Any clues would be very
useful!

Here's hoping.............
