Run clips backwards in MovieMaker or in Roxio?

I've got some short clips of stuff I want to combine into one big .mpg and
I'm using either MovieMaker or Roxio VideoEditor thing to assemble it. The
original clips are all .mpg as well. One short clip would be really funny if
I could get it to play backwards, and then forwards. But in either
application, I dont see a control or special effect that will allow for an
imported clip to play backwards. Am I missing it or will neither program
allow for running the clips backwards?

Its not possible in Movie maker itself but other free tools would allow it
to be done easily:
