Zone Alarm

Using Windows XP, SP2, I.E. and O.E. I downloaded the Free ZoneAlarm
program and when I tried to open it, I received an error box: C:\Documents
and Settings\ZoneAlarm.exe if not a valid Win 32 application. What did I do
wrong? Any help out there?

Download it again. You should not have had a problem installing it.

Thanks, Jerry. I downloaded the program again but now I have a different
problem. Each time I try to install it, I get an Installer error: "Set up
is unable to shut down True Vector service. Install cannot continue without
shutting down the True Vector service. Please use the service manager to
shut down the True Vector service and then restart the install program."
I have no idea where the TrueVector or service manager is. I did a Search
without any success. I still need your help.

It sounds like you have zone alarm at least partially installed. Go to
add/remove programs in control panel and remove zone alarm then try
installing again.

Check for and remove any virus that might be lurking on the computer, they
are known to block installation of Spybot and other Anti-Virus programs.

Uninstall the program and then reinstall.
