Audio from MPEG sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks

When I put my mpegs into the work area and play the project as a whole, the
sound is sped up, faster than the movie. The movie will play all the way
through, but the sound goes by super-quick, leaving no sound for the
remainder of the clip.

Please help

It's best to convert MPEG-2 files to AVI before using them in Movie Maker.
Check the Importing Source Files section of my site...

I've gone to your website, tried to download VirtualDub, and recieved an
error saying I need a file named "corona.dll" to operate it. I googled that
name, and tried to download that file, but without success. I've seen this
problem on some other help sites, but I am yet to see a way to solve it.
Please help.
Thanks

VirtualDub doesn't handle MPEG-2.... try VirtualDubMod, which has the
corona.dll with it... the link is on my same page.

Thanks for your help. Does your website explain how to use Virtualdub mod to
convert MPEG2s to AVIs?

Well, it doesn't go into detail... there's a sketchy overview on the
Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG-2 page.
