Could someone please tell me how to import MPEG-2 files. When I try it, MM
gives a error, I don't know what it means so I can't translate it from Dutch.
How could I fix it?

It is far easier to convert the MPEG-2 files to AVI files, and then use the
AVI files in Movie Maker, than it is to try to work with the MPEG-2 files
themselves - reported success is rare.

For some ideas about how to convert, see the Importing Source Files > Video

Thanks, but I think I'll just use MPEG-1, that's easier. Nice website by the
way, PapaJohn (MVP).

It may be easier but MPEG 1 videos also don't work well with Movie Maker.

and it's reducing the quality one step further.
