transfer them from disc onto my new pc, but inadvertedly put them onto my c

I have tried to delete them from c drive but all they do is keep multiplying.
each cartoon has got copy in front of them and they wont allow themselves to
be deleted. HELP

I'm confused. Unless your new computer has two hard drives, of course you
would be transferring the files to the C: drive. What were you trying to
do? Right click one of the files and under Properties>General Tab check the
Attributes.
