Don't has be to removed only saved to the Documents, then it can be opened.

What are the exact steps you are taking to open the pdf file?

If you remove the attached pdf from OE and click on it, does it open?

Hi,

Go to add remove programs and uninstall all versions of Adobe Reader.
Reboot the system and reinstall the latest version.
