Whenever I log onto the internet a browser called DerBiz.com tries to launch
itself - I've tried to delete it from the desk top and then from the recycle
bin but it comes back everytime - does anyone know how to uninstall it?

Also I keep getting a window on the bottom of the screen that starts
counting up money rapidly! Can close using Task Manager but no amount of
running Spybot or Adaware appears to stop it happening - help!

Hi

Please try the following programs to search for any spyware that may be on
your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://forum.aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip
Spy Sweeper - www.webroot.com

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:

ok.You could also use msconfig (start - run - type msconfig) then look for
the program in the startup tab. If found untick it click apply, ok then
reboot.

When you get back into XP a message wil appear mentioning selective startup.
Just click in the do not show again box and

It's quite likely it would not show up in MSCONFIG. Malware/scumware use a variety of ways to hide themselves.
One useful tool to have is Silentrunners at http://www.silentrunners.org

Here are 2 tools from SysInternals that may help you get an insight on what's running.
Process Explorer http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml

Autoruns (checks & shows what's set to auto-load at Windows startup)
