safe mode

I recently tried to remove a spyware on my IBM ThinkPad. On the steps I
was following, I had to run msconfig and select "start in safe mode". I
wasn't paying attention and forgot to select "with networking". Now when
I start my laptop, it starts in safe mode but when I type in my password
it tells me that I can't log on because the password is wrong. How can I
make the correction to my msconfig?

Thank you.

The default "Administrator" account uses a blank password ( Home edition sees this during a boot to Safe mode )
