Recently my laptop began to get super hot then shut down after a while.
It would shut down rather quickly if I was doing video editing or
something more labor intensive. It turned out that the paths by which
the fan ventilated we thoroughly clogged. I removed the build-up and it
is running perfect again. I would suggest popping it open and giving it
a good dusting.
