Change Drive Letter
Hi i have installes a windows xp pc but i have about 4 usb drives on it it
then change my local disk to drive h: and 1 of my usb drives to c: it now
chows that my local disk is drive h: i can change my usb c: drive letter to
any other one but is there a way i can change my drive letter of my locak
disk to c: drive

Assuming you are using Windows XP, go to <Start><Control
panel><Administrative tools><Computer management><Disk management>

If you installed to H: it will have to remain H:. If you want it on C:
you must install to C:.

Next time you install XP disconnect all Usb devices first , apart from
mouse.

Disk Management will not allow you to change the drive letter that XP is
installed on.

USB drives before attempting to install Windows):
