Have just picked up on this trail, following the 'disappearance' of my floppy
drive. Not quite sure when this happened, but I have recently downloaded a
lot of XP updates which research suggests may be connected. According to
device manager, my flopy drive exists and is functioning, but I cannot get it
to recognise a floppy disc, or show up on My Computer.

All help gratefully received.
