Cannot search properly for a file

Hi

When I search for a file, say for example using *.wab or *.wab?, I get 'No
Results Found' even though I know the exaction location of the file, that it
does exist and also 'Show Hidden Files' is enabled.

I hope that you can advise me.
Regards
Julia

Are you using the default search tool? Are you searching within "all files
and folders"?

You have to tell search to search hidden folders. Showing doesn't affect search - it will show hidden stuff even if show is off. But it needs to be told to search them (advanced options in search).

Strange. When I search on *.wab my address book shows up. Are you certain
you typed it in correctly and searched all drives? And you are booted up
using the account where the address book resides, correct?
