I've seemed to have deleted a clip from windows movie maker that is very
important to me.

I didnt not have the clip stored anywhere else on my computer. So therfore i
cannot find it anywhere. Is there some way i can undelete the clip (even
thought it didnt delete it to my recycle bin?)

Any help would be appreciated.

No, you didn't, yes you do. Movie maker doesn't "store" your clips. It
references them wherever you stored it. Do a search for the clip...Did you
rename any folders lately? Movie maker can't find it (big red X)?

sorry but if your useing a older version or your not all updated i have had
movies deleted by movie maker simply by deleting the import file in the
maker. sometimes even if i had it saved as project . you had to import it
from a folder. you have my documents/video thats were it would go by default.
even if you took it from a video device (usb) good luck. let us know how you
did. george had simuler problems awhile a go
