Information Bar

I just reinstalled XP Pro and SP2. When using Internet Explorer for a company
site I keep getting the following information bar message:
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."
It seems that I have reset everything in internet options for Explorer and
nothing seems to help me get to this page.
Any help would sure be appreciated.
RickM,
In your internet options click on custom level and enable the
downloading of active X controls or I would recommend that you switch it to
prompt for security reasons so that IE prompts you to install the controls
you want.

RickM,
Does this only happen on one website or on any website? Try browsing to
windows update to see if you still recieve the error. Also, another method
might be to lower the security settings to "low". I wouldn't leave it like
that. Other then that I am out of ideas
Hope someone can be more useful then me

Try adding the site to your Trusted sites zone.
