I am experiencing a similar problem. I have tried a different USB
optical mouse and tried plugging it into a different port. It will
just freeze every now and then and is really annoying. Sometimes it
will reactivate a moment later (with the USB deactivation and
activation sounds) and sometimes I need to unplug the mouse and plug it
back in. I will continue to try different things to see if I can fix
this and I will post a solution when I find it. Any suggestions are
greatly appreciated.
