Any solution for the intermittent connection problem?

whether using adsl speedtouch modem for bt broadband or dial up modem the connection keeps dropping.

event ids: ipv6 firewall service terminated
unable to contact dhcp
service control manager

Ok the problem seems to have been solved due to a faulty extension cable.
