After joining a w2k3 domain, whenever I try and switch between to local
IP-port printers, I get this 40 second hour glass. If I take the machine
off the domain, the switch is immediate. I'm thinking that being a part of
the domain makes it look for domain resources first, over local resources.
Someone tell me if there is a reg hack that will tell XP to screw the domain
and look locally for printers. The problem is causing delays while
customers are waiting. Don't want to have to use server print queues
either. Could it possible have to do with DNS or WINS? Help!! Rk
