when attempting to install a program that uses an older version of windows
than what I have, XP, I recieve the message:
"C:\PROGRA~1\Symantec|s3ZEVNT1.dll. An installable Virtual
Device Driver failed Dll initialization, choose Close to terminate the
application"

I attempted as much as I kno such as running the Windows compatibility
wizard and a couple of troubleshoots but yet i still have no solution. Please
help me!!!!!!

Sounds like your Norton Antivirus or one of their products.
Are you closing all your programs prior to install?
