Updating Drivers an easy way

Is there any software that checks out all the drivers and updates them,
or at least find them to update. I have used SiSoft Sandra which is
telling me there is so many of my drivers needing updating and indeed, I
have been getting quite a few blue screens of death and crashing out,
sometimes in the middle of writing an email.
Surely there must be something that finds each programmes software and
can search for the relevant update and install it. If there is no such
software then its time someone invented it.

Hi

Please don't depend on SiSoft Sandra. Go to the manufacturer's web site for
all your hardware drivers - don't use Windows Update either.

Thanks so much Will, although I am not an absolute greenhorn using a PC,
(I love IT), I am not competent to update my drivers and yes, I have
gone to various web sites only to be unable to find the relevant driver,
not to mention actually updating them. Hence my query to see if there
was a piece of software that could detect an out of date driver, find it
from the manufacturers website and update it?

Hi Derrick

Which drivers are you looking for? It's not easy to point you to one
program that will check all drivers on your system. I know it perhaps may
be a long way round, but check the driver versions for all your hardware
devices and then go to the manufacturer's web site. That is a lot better
than using Windows Update or any other 3rd party program. That's the way I
go.

OK Will, I will try, and thanks again.
However, I am not hopeful but you have given me some courage.
