please i want to know where product ID is store in registery database to
modify it
becouse when i want to install SP2 , the message appear to say invalid ID.
so please help.

The Product Key is not stored in the registry. To see the Product Key,
you can run the Magic Jellybean program (free):
http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
Did you purchase your current XP retail? Give some details if you want
more help. If you have a pirated version, you will not be able to
install Service Pack 2.

If you are trying to install a WinXP Service Pack and getting the

Do a find in regedit on your product ID.

product ID
