folder contents listing

Have recently upgraded to XP. When displaying folder contents in My Music
tracks do not show in strict alphabetical order, e.g. "The Shadows - Third
Man" is shown before "The Shadows - Deer Hunter" the layout of the titles are
identical - no spaces missed etc. - so why do they no longer list in true
alphabetical order and how can I change this.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Did you try right click into this folder, and select "Arrange icons by:
Name" in the menu?

Thanks - I had already selected "arrange icons by: name" in the menu but it
did not appear to make any difference. However after closing down pc
altogether and restarting the problem was solved!
