Rejection by Outllok Express.

In general my system -XP Home and Internet Explorer for internet access works
well. But today messages from a regular contact have had their attachments
rejected by OE.
The message itself is there but the attachment isn't. The message from OE
reads as follows.
"O.E. removed access to the following unsafe attachment in your mail.
ATT19.eml."
There is another rejection - also with the suffix .eml."
I am on a sizeable mailing list and it seems as if everyone gets their mail
OK except me.
If it is relevant i use Zone Alarm and AVG anti-virus.
Sorry if this query should have been sent elsewhere but help from any
quarter would be appreciated.

Thank you,

H

Everyone else has their Outlook Express configured to receive attachments.
You don't!

Go to Tools/Options/Security and see if there is something there you can
uncheck that may help you!

Tools/Options/Security. Do the obvious. Oh, and if you have AVG checking
your emails, disable that feature as it offers no added protection and can
corrupt OE.

One of the MS updates improved OE security and set it higher so mails can be
stopped if there is a potential threat. Tools/Options/Security and reset it
to the level you want.

Thanks people,

Clearly there was a concensus on this one. Advice followed and everything
fine now.

Cheers everyone,

H
