Hi all this is my first post, I am running xp home edition Well where
do i start. Well I dont know if its a mouse problem or what but when I
use it(the mouse) to do anything in my files or when browsing with
firefox the mouse will freeze then I hear a beep in the tower and it
freezes for a few seconds and then comes back. and sometimes the
windows will freeze and say this program is not responding. and when
that happens the light on the mouse turns off. I wait a little while
and nothing it just hangs and the can on the tower just flickrs
sporatically. I have checked for spyware, viruses, trojans, bla, bla with
spysweepers, spy emergency, norton pro and pc bug doctor and all say
that that Im clean of all of the above and that all errors are fixed
that where there Buuuuuuut the problem is still there. Oh and well I
was writing this post and closing windows that where open it hung up
again and takes a few seconds to close the windows. Well there it is
people I hope someone can help me before I punt my tower through the
uprights for a field goal hehehehe. Let me thank you all in advance .

well all I fixed the problem so far hehehe. What I did was updated all
my software in the earlier post and then I rebooted in safe mode and
then ran all of them and let them fix what problems thay found. Then I
did a recover bad data and then used window washer and let it do its
thing and all now seems to be working good and fast again. Let me say
that I am in no way a computer wiz by no means but I had this problem
and tried to solve it myself and this seemed to work for me so
............ So if anyone else seems to have the same problem that I
hade they might want to try this but do so at your own risk cause I
was getting fustrated and wanted to do the field goal thingy and so i
just tried this and it seemed to work for me.
