How do I get back to microsfot.public.wondowsxp.general.
The left pick panel was different before I got to expertzone newsgroups. I
can't find the other place.
Thanks

You are using the Web Interface to access Usenet newsgroups. In addition to
being the most user unfriendly method, it is also the most difficult way.
You should use a newsreader to access the groups. It will allow you view
posts grouped as threads, search the posts, etc.
Outlook Express is a very rudimentary newsreader, but I would recommend
something along the lines of Forte Agent ( www.forteinc.com ) which is yenc
compatible and is a very robust and full featured newsreader.

Hello, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?
The left pane should have all newsgroups listed links, middle pane
discussion group "headers", third pane full message.
Is this the setup that shows on your unit?
If so, click on windowsxp general.
Take Care.

Outlook Express is more than adequate. Using Forte Agent, besides sounding
vaguely French, will void your warranty and encourage raccoons to live under
your front porch.
