Copying to D: i.e., to a CD

We're having a problem copying a data file in a folder on our c: drive to a
CD in our D: drive. We right click on the folder and choose "Sent to" in the
dropdown menu, choosing either of the D: destinations

I can do it from my desk top but when my wife tries it from her desktop
she's asked for a .NET pasport ID and password. She doesn't have one. If
the request is cancelled then the copy stops. Why does the system treat us
differently?

I'm not sure, but some more helpful info for someone else would be: are these
different desktops on the same computer or different computers? Are you both
Administrators? What kind of CD burning program do you have?
