Print spooler memory allocation

I have a rather poor quality CAD program that creats 100MByte print jobs if
the drawing contains text. This really slows down printing. Is there a way
to allocate more resources to the print spooler (or ?) that might help speed
it up?
Try raising its priority via Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete)
Right-click Spooler.exe > Set Priority > High

If you have plenty of RAM installed, you may want to move the spool
directory to a RAM-Disk. Control Panel > Printers > File menu > Server
Properties > Advanced tab > Spool Folder.

d-d
If you don't need to play with CAD while it's printing, you can turn
spooling off.
Right click My Computer > Manage > expand Services and Applications > click
Services > goto Print Spooler > double click and press stop and mess with
the options.
It'll just cause CAD to directly print to the printer without having to save
anything.
Just a thought,
