setting desktop password question

I am using win xp pro, How do I set this up......

If my desktop is left unattended for say 5 minutes it shuts down and
requires a password to re access it.

Right click your Desktop. > Goto Properties > Pick the Screen Saver tab

You can decide which options best suit your needs there.

Take a look a Power Options in Control, on the Advanced tab.
