[My dvd home movies sound dubbed]

I just installed a plextor dvd drive. Sometimes parts of the dvd sound
dubbed. My software is power director 3. I been using 16x r+. Is the 16x too
fast for the software. Maybe I should try the sloweer speed dvds?
