Question re Internet Explorer

I'd like to delete the current contents of the various drop down lists and
other items automatically populated by IE 6. Could someone please indicate
how to do this.

Right-click on your Taskbar and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize > Clear

Just move your down arrow over top of the entries then hit the delete
button.
