I had a similar issue and I resolved it by assuming the filess used to
recycle within the c:\recycler directory were corrupted. So I opened a
command prompt window and did this:

cd c:\
rmdir /s recycler
Ansered Y to the "are you sure"
Closed the command prompt window.
Immediately rebooted.

Windows recreates the recycler subdirectory and the other files hidden
within.

This made my problem go away. It worked for me, but I caution it may not
work for you. I am not reponsible for other problems this my cause you.
