Ask your network administrator to log you on under
the administrator's password. You would need the same
password even without logging on if you wish to edit
the registry remotely!
we know the admin pw they are on the same domain as us,, and I'm the network
admin,,!! I would like to know where is that registry key..

There probably is but you would need to find it. You would
also need to activate it, because these keys are often read
at boot or logon time but not subsequently. To find it, take
a snapshot of the part of the registry that you believe contains
the key, then enable remote assistance, then take another
snapshot, then compare the two snapshots. This is the easy
part. The hard part is to find out how to broadcast the change
to the operating system.
You might find that making the change by the usual means
is far easier.
