Hi
I'm building an image for a PC which is to be used in a POS environment. The
machine has a realtek 8139D PCI LAN card installed, which is giving me HEAPS
of trouble. I installed XP Pro on the machine, installed all the drivers,
and used TAP.EXE to get the hardware details. When I import the pmq file
into TD, it tells me it found 68 drivers for 71 devices, the unknown devices
are all "Generic Volume" After FBA has run, Device Manager says that there
are no drivers installed for the device, but clicking update driver installs
a driver. After that, device manager says the device is working properly,
but I don't have a network connections icon in the control panel. There is
however an unnamed folder icon there, which does nothing.
I've been battling with this problem for 3 weeks now, and have exhausted all
the resources I have at my disposal. Please help.
