unknown partition??

hi all,
while researching a previous post about partitions i found 2 partitions in
my comp management console, i thought i only had one, the second is my C=
system=NTFS=74Gb. i know what this is, but the first one puzzles me, it is a
39Mb=FAT partition with description ( EISA configuration) does anyone know
what this is? thank you

Hi,

Most likely it is a part of your system recovery software, and is accessed
using some means as described by your system manufacturer.

If it is a Dell computer, it is the Dell Diagnostic Utility which the
telephone support people and technicians sometimes run to solve a problem.
It is accessible through the Windows Boot Menu.
